A close friend of mine and former parishioner, Angelique Marcantel, entered into the novitiate for the Servants of the Lord and the Virgin of Matará today. Here, Sister Marie Protectrice de la Foi (Mary Protector of the Faith) meets her father.

I felt the touching love from the Holy Spirit! Blessed be God!
What a reward for this father: to have his precious daughter become a novice after his years of protecting and guiding her. This father knows the path to heaven will not be easy for his treasured daughter but he has raised her to trust and to be loyal to God no-matter what. He embraces her one last bittersweet time and lovingly places his daughter’s future in God’s holy hands.
